Aurora Technologies developed a smart
card controller compliant and applicable
with the Mondex e-purse card. The
controller was developed for Mondex
Israel and installed at sites that
supported the Mondex card scheme. The
controller is to be used for drinking
machines, coffee machines, game machines
and copier machines. Todate, there are
several Mondex payable vending machines
in universities and campuses in Israel
that are working with student and faculty
members cards. The first Mondex pilot in
Israel was initiated in the city of
Rehovot.

The Mondex card is one of
the most secure smart cards. It is
virtually impossible to forge a card or
create fraudulant data on a card.
Aurora Technologies was recognized by
Mondex International as a solution
provider, and became one of the experts
in Israel for the Mondex card.
